Ace Radko came to America and became a notorious gangster until he was arrested and deported as an undesirable alien. Back in Europe, Radko decided to lure Batman and Robin to his home country and then kidnap then in hope that America would pay one million dollars to ransom the Dynamic Duo. While in Europe, Batman befriended Rogers, a retired big-game hunter, who helped them deal with Radko and his men. Rogers learned Batman's true identity during the adventure, but died of heart failure, taking the secret with him. The freed crime fighters safely returned to America.
